News, copyright & attribution

• News is collected only from approved sources (RSS feeds, official APIs, licensed providers or sources that permit use)
• Articles are original eFit Connect summaries written with AI and reviewed by staff — we never republish full articles
• Every article credits its original source and links to it
• Images are only shown where the source licence permits; sources that don't allow our use are blocked from publishing
• Rights holders can request removal via the Contact page

Professional verification

• Professional accounts submit credentials (licence, certificates or registration) for review
• Only approved professionals receive the verified badge
• Verification can be withdrawn if information is found to be false or expired

Health & wearable data

• Wearable and health data is private by default
• Following someone never gives them access to your health data
• You choose exactly who can see your activity and which data types, and can revoke access at any time
• We only request the device permissions needed for the features you enable

Moderation & audit

Staff approvals and rejections — for users, professionals, posts, news and reports — are recorded with who acted, what they did and when.

Location

We use your selected location, or your approximate country from your connection, to show local content first. GPS location is only used when you allow it.
